Aya Khourshid is an independent climate and social researcher from Egypt and Palestine. She is currently a member of YOUNGO, the UNFCCC constituency of Youth  Non-Governmental Organizations and is part of the Climate Finance Working Group. Her work revolves around accelerating climate finance flows to the Global South. Part of her mission lies in prototyping new community-centered financial structures that mimic nature, and she works on incubating transformative regenerative solutions that draw on indigenous knowledge that put community at the heart.
