Koshizuka Noboru

Bio
Noboru Koshizuka is a Professor of Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, the University of Tokyo, Japan.   He received Ph. D in computer science in 1994 from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

Since 1990, he has been researching ubiquitous computing, IoT (Internet of Things), embedded systems, human-computer interactions, and computer networks.  Currently, his main research interests are IoT, smart city, smart building, data distribution platforms, blockchain, operating systems, and computer networks.  He is a director of Data Society Alliance, a chair of Green x Digital Consortium, a chair of Weather x Business Consortium, etc.

The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) has established the Green x Digital Consortium as a space for pursuing activities that promote corporate carbon neutrality and create and deploy new digital solutions leading to industrial and social transformation. We will work to digitize environment-related fields and create new business models so as to enable the relevant Japanese industries to lead global green markets.
